I'm an Orlando website designer at Rise. You can view some of my past work in the portfolio. Want to know more about me? Check out my about page. Want to kill some time? There’s always the blog.
My name is Justin Delabar. I'm a political scientist by study and a web designer/information architect/user experience designer by trade. I've been designing for the web for the past 10 years, creating sites for gaming media outlets, political bloggers, and institutions of higher education. I currently serve as Project Specialist and Design Lead in the University of Central Florida's Office of Undergraduate Studies, where I oversee the outward facing web and print productions for three separate departments.
I also write a bit. Besides my weblog here on Creatabye, some of my archived work on American foreign policy can be pursued on my other site, The Digital Diplomat. My writing has also been featured on the superb The Moderate Voice (of which I did the graphical layout.)
I live in Orlando, FL with my girlfriend Belle and our cats, Howie and Fiona. In my spare time I take Howie to the vet way too often, read, watch sports (go Buckeyes!) , hunt down new music to listen to, and pretend that I will one day begin jogging again.
